Good evening, ladies and gents, Glad to see all of you here tonight and those of you online, thanks for joining us. Let's see, here's what you missed online. We had pork chop night. I, I didn't get a picture of them as we were eating them, but there they are as we were cooking them. And, and I learned John's a master chef. Well, he's a master at chefing. Did I do it right? Okay, good. Thank you. Thank you. They look beautiful. They tasted beautif beautiful too. But anyway, those of you online, you should have, you should have come had a pork chop with us and we had a good time with all of that. And tonight we'll come into first Thessalonians. But let's see what we've got. This Sunday is August, isn't it? And we're having our August schedule that begins Sunday. That's the same as our July schedule which is the same as the June schedule. So 9:45, I'm going to maybe, maybe complete. I don't know, this will be the third Sunday maybe completes my argument on music and morality. We'll see. Might go one more session. Who knows? Depends on whether or not I've twisted Luca's arm or not. But. And then I will be in Ecclesiastes, chapter 12. This is the last chapter of Ecclesiastes. We won't finish this Sunday, but getting close to the end of Ecclesiastes in about a 15 week journey or so that we've been and in that book and that'll be all good, so. So there we go. That's, that's coming up Sunday. Tomorrow morning we've got men's breakfast at 8 o' clock and other than that I think everything's normal. Good, healthy and good to see each one of you tonight. Isaiah's gone tonight, so. So we're skipping singing. How's that? And he won't let us skip singing though, since he's gone. Maybe, maybe he watch. Because if he watches he'll come and say you skipped singing. But anyway, thank you, Isaiah. With that I think I'll have a word of prayer and we'll begin. Heavenly Father, thank you for the book of First Thessalonians that we're going to study tonight. Pray that you'd encourage us with it and give us some insights not only into where they were, but where we are and help us to understand this early book of Paul. We ask it in Jesus name. Amen. Okay, first Thessalonians. Last week we made it up to verse 8 and did not get all the way and finish into verse nine. And so that is where we're gonna pick up with verse nine. And it is one through eight. Is this. This section on OR five through ten, really? This section on the Gospels power? And he said, let me just back up so we get the context here. In 5, 6, 7 and 8, we won't look at them again other than to read them. But as our gospel came to you, not in word only, but also in power in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as you know what manner of men we were among you.
