Sa evening, ladies and gentlemen. Here we, Here we are. I'm going to stop that music there. There we go. There. We're professional. One man show here, except I got Luca right there helping me out. But so glad you're here for Bible study tonight on this Thursday, as we do look at Proverbs Wisdom unveiled. We're going to hopefully unveil chapter two tonight and have an exciting time doing so. And you know, we have, we've taken, I would say a different look at the book of Proverbs and it has been a, a good, exciting, wonderful look for me so far anyway. And I am, I'm, I'm hoping so for you as well. And that already just having covered chapter one, that you're saying, hey, you know, I think I'm going to get it. You know, here's, here's what do on these books like this where I'm not sure exactly where I'm going to go, but I have a premise is I make the premise and then I test it out. Now there is confirmation bias, so we want to watch out for this. But often and so far it's the case here, it's like, wow, I never knew it was there so much. So our premise is that King Solomon is writing to his son Rehoboam or to any future king, and excuse me, I should say King of Israel. So it's a very royal look. And then on top of that, it is a book about, hey, kings of Israel, you need to live the Torah in order that you can be the Proverbs 31 woman. You, Israel can be the Proverbs 31 woman. So that's what we're putting together and doing. Last week we had a wisdom session as Lady Wisdom spoke wisdom in chapter one is the Torah itself speaking. And our premise is every time we see wisdom, it's not just some general good application of knowledge that is Torah. Now that ought to say for those of us who are right dividers, we would understand this almost without saying, but I probably should say it, that we are able then to know that this book is not to be directly applied to our lives. I think the failure to recognize that this should not be the failure to recognize the fact that the book of Proverbs should not be applied directly to our lives has led to really the, I'll call it the degrading of the Book of Proverbs. What do you mean degrading? Well, we talked about it from the very first session. Here's a book of a whole bunch of things that are sometimes True. Welcome to the Book of Proverbs. Sometimes this comes true. That's. That's a degradation of the book. So when we look at Proverbs as wisdom unveiled the Torah unveiled a User's Guide to Torah, as we've often called it so far in these three previous sessions and in tonight's session, I think the book begins to make sense. So I hope it's exciting for you. I hope you love it. I suspect I may be wrong here, but I suspect we'll be going about one chapter per session as we go along. Now, just a couple of programming notes before we dive into the Bible study. That is that I am going to be doing some traveling beginning next week because it's grandkid birthday time. I've got five grandkids and four of them have birthdays in March. So Pops has got to go with Mimi and celebrate birthdays. And that's important. I know. You know, that's important to raise those grandkids. Right, Right. So I'll be out, but we are having Thursday night Bible study. It is live and it is going through Proverbs. So next week we'll be in Proverbs chapter three. I think we'll. We'll carry these Thursday night Bible studies all the way with hopefully without missing any. So that is the plan. And then Ask the Theologian will actually be reruns played live. So those of you who love to watch live and say hello to your friends on the chat box and whatnot, all that's just gonna continue. It's just going to be a rerun instead of a live one. You know, we have, I don't know, somewhere, somewhere around, I'm going to say 2000 ask the theologian episode. So there's a lot out there that you forgot. They got good questions in them. We'll be bringing those back up during that time. And then I'll be preaching this Sunday. I'll have Jeff in Trinidad, Colorado, preaching for me for two Sundays. Not this Sunday, but the two after that. So, you know, one of the things you might want to do, I don't have it on my screen here, but one of the things you might want to do is go to randywhiteministries.org find the alerts button because we will be sending out alerts telling you what's going on. It's a good way to stay in touch and to know without just watching YouTube or worship and say, hey, is there one there yet? Which. That works too. Just go on YouTube worship. I see if something's up at any of our broadcast times. Okay, now it is time for us to come together into Proverbs chapter 2. We're going to use both of these. Are King James here behind me. We're going to mainly be looking here, here to my right and seeing Proverbs chapter 2. We will use the scripture right here on your right. And we will use this for cross reference scriptures that we will take as we go along. And so let's, let's pick up so we've got once again, Proverbs 2 comes not just as a general encouragement to young men, you know, my son, if that will receive my words. This is not a general encouragement to young men. It is a royal charter. Here is the, I would even say the command of, of the King. Now you and I, most of us in the United States, of course we don't come from a royal background, but we have plenty of audience that do come from a royal background. And I, pardon me, I can just imagine that sometime before Queen Elizabeth died, she sat down with Charles and said, now son, listen to me, here is what you're going to do. I know about being the monarch. I'm going to pass some wisdom on to you for being the monarch. And she may have even written a book, who knows, written a letter to the now King Charles. This is Solomon's letter to specifically his son Rehoboam. Not, you know, to, to anyone, any boy, any young man. But it has this, this royal sense to it. Now what we're going to see, a little bit of outline ahead of time, verses one through four is, hey King, future king, you better seek some wisdom. And then it is going to tell us that if you do seek this wisdom, you're going to find it. You're going to find God's wisdom in Torah. We'll see how that comes together. And then it's going to give a couple of warnings. Stay away from this man and that woman. There's an evil man and an evil woman. You don't want them.
